I am now getting confusing and contradictory information concerning how to distinguish a PAP login from a CHAP login. I know how to properly set up my dialer for doing MSIE and I know how to setup NetDial for DOS, and a couple of other internet dial-up programs, but I don't even really know at this point what kind of login protocol I am using. Can someone please explain most clearly the difference between PAP and CHAP?
