Considering that this is a list for survPCs, I would expect
several readers to have XTs.  My main computer is a 486, but
I still use the XT because it is my only laptop.

Because DOS 3 has a *much* smaller footprint.  With an XT
is is important to preserve every byte of RAM.

Why do I have to do that?  You said DOS users didn't have to
worry about which distro of DOS they were running.  Have you
changed your mind?

Why bother?  Just use an icon or shortcut or whatever you
call it.  Point-and-click.  No need to touch the keyboard.
