Fortunately/unfortunately, New Zealand missed out on most of
the dot.com bubble.

Hmm... US$25.  Add US$10 for shipping to the other side
of the world.  That makes US$35.  Convert to $NZ (don't
forget the bank's commission).  NZ$90.  Add the 12.5% tax
(yes the NZ tax goes on the shipping as well).  That takes
the total cost over NZ$100.  Just to put that in perspective,
I went shopping yesterday and bought 10kg (22 pounds) of
potatoes, five ears of corn, a loaf of bread and a litre
(quart) of milk for a toal of $10.

Oh, BTW, once I've paid $100 for that secondhand HD, what
do I do when I find it doesn't work?  That's assuming the
guy on Ebay actually sends me the HD after taking my money.
