This does not cause balsa to run whatsoever here. Balsa reports not
finding the gtklib I had installed when I compiled balsa. I deleted
the original binary file but it still says that it has a problem
locating this lib. Dont quite understand this.
I did recompile my self built gtk/glib and will probably have to
download all the devel packages to get things compiling correctly.
Have others installed the gnome 1.0.1 rpms? Did you have self compiled
gtk/glib libs installed or did you do rpms for everything? Im just
curious because I definitely wanted my self-compiled gtk/glib there
because the rpm's could never be found when I attempted compiling
sources. When I compiled xchast last nite it found my self-compiled
stuff first time.
I dont really know if broke anything but I dont believe I did because
everything works exceedingly well here. If people are interested, I
could post some basic comments about changes between the 99.8 and the
release. There are some things I did not see in the 99.8 release that
may have been there in cvs releases. There is a gnome-ppp applet now
and a few other things which are a bit different. The menus seem
somewhat better thought out, etc.
Just as a side note, I just verified that all the gnome 1.0.1 rpms
installed.
