Ummm youre not really giving enough info on what you've tried.
Did you use yast>system admin>intergrate hardware>configure networking device?
and yast>system admin>network configuration>network base configuration>giving it an ip
address of *your*choice.. in the class C range 192.xxx.xx.x or under?
are you back to using a stock kernel (which should be fine)
What kind of machine are you networking with?
We need a little more information... ;-)
