Hi there again everyone, Happy St Patricks day!
Well, we just got a shiny new etower with built in rage card and
whizzy K6, its really nice. I installed 6.0 flawlessy in half an hour,
told it during the install that our new 56k HSP Micromodem (PCI card)
lived on com4 under dos.
I then set up a ppp device in yast and typed in ISP info, just as I
did in 5.3 Then I removed the lock option in /etc/ppp/options and
typed all the info into kppp.
I click connect and it says "Modem busy" Does anyone have any advice?
I don't think its a winmodem it doesn't say that anywhere. In 5.3 I
got it to work by following the steps I told you above and it worked.
Should I just go back to 5.3? Please help if you can!
