| Well, we just got a shiny new etower with built in rage card and
| whizzy K6, its really nice. I installed 6.0 flawlessy in half an hour,
| told it during the install that our new 56k HSP Micromodem (PCI card)
| lived on com4 under dos.
|
| I then set up a ppp device in yast and typed in ISP info, just as I
| did in 5.3 Then I removed the lock option in /etc/ppp/options and
| typed all the info into kppp.

| I click connect and it says "Modem busy" Does anyone have any advice?

I believe that this means that kppp cannot lock the device which it
does by creating a lock file in /var/locks IMSC. You may find that kppp
doesn't have permission to do this. IMHO it should have the same
permissions as ppp i.e. setuid root but only executable by group.
