Sure,

I entered the vert and horiz refresh rate for my monitor, and then,
through searching on the web, I came across someone who had posted a
way to fix the problems I was having with my particular SIS 6326
Chipset (on the A50 Video card). SO, I implemented the changes in the
XF86Config file and voila, everything worked. BTW, I tried xvidtune
afterwards to see what I could tweak. I was only lucky that the
program makes a *.bak file. When I restarted my XServer after using
xvidtune, the same original problems came back. Apparently by making
the changes in xvidtune and not manually through XF86Config I exceeded
the video refresh rates.
