I don't know what you mean with RTC debugging hack. Could you give me some hints where to find details? What I did is netconsole, but without any success. The last thing captured was this: ------------ Starting balanced_irq Using IPI No-Shortcut mode Magic number: 3:802:636 hash matches device 0000:00:1c.1:pcie02 Synaptics Touchpad, model: 1, fw: 6.2, id: 0x81a0b1, caps: 0xa04713/0x204000 input: SynPS/2 Synaptics TouchPad as /class/input/input5 kjournald starting. Commit interval 5 seconds EXT3-fs: mounted filesystem with ordered data mode. VFS: Mounted root (ext3 filesystem) readonly. Freeing unused kernel memory: 172k freed Stopping tasks ... done. Suspending console(s) ------------- And after resume there was nothing to be found in the netconsole. So the crash must be earlier. I have create a bug report and also collect information there: http://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8307 Best wishes Norbert ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Dr. Norbert Preining <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Università di Siena Debian Developer <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Debian TeX Group gpg DSA: 0x09C5B094 fp: 14DF 2E6C 0307 BE6D AD76 A9C0 D2BF 4AA3 09C5 B094 ------------------------------------------------------------------------------- SNITTER (n.)
