I have to say that I would like to wait a little bit to check TV output to
defintively add M2NPV-VM in the whitelist.
Also regarding the bad DMI strings my system says:
This machine can be identified by:
sys_vendor = "System manufacturer"
sys_product = "System Product Name"
sys_version = "System Version"
bios_version = "ASUS M2NPV-VM ACPI BIOS Revision 0801"

when you make test from console do you put ubuntu in runlevel 1 ?
