Glenn,

Sorry if it seems that I might exhibit no pronouncement of deity
as fact or any alignment with any singular belief system.

It's partly that I'm not out to offer fuel to others who might be
easily prodded towards escalating general discourse into a "holy
war," as if there is such a thing as a war that is "holy."
(Again, leave it to humans to justify such a concept.)

Which actually brings the discussion right back to where it
always does...the manner in which humans bend spirituality to
make it fit their ends, generally turning gold into antimony.

I wish I had the unequivocal answer to spirit and divinity. I am
well aware that there are numerous factions willing to steer my
poor misguided soul to their version of nirvana. Perhaps all
these different sects have some elusively thin grasp of the
almost unfathomable.

But what I do find is that whatever humans set their hands to is
inevitably distorted or corrupted to lesser and larger degrees,
inclusive of spiritual definitives. Yet when operating under the
premise of divinity, God and spirit are impervious to such
disease. Therefore does it not present itself as probable that
the best understandings can come from those things left untouched
and unmanipulated?

No matter the expressions of belief amongst peoples in the
physical world, the greatest insights come from places beyond the
pages we read and reiterate.
