In 20 years we'll be collecting the games of today, so I feel it's
on-topic.

I have to tell you I'm 30 yrs old and was weaned on the huge yellow
plastic Pong, Atari 2600 and the Odyssey 2, and I've seen everything
from then up until this point. And I say, with 100% conviction, I have
absolutely no idea what is going to happen this Christmas. It's going
to come down to:

- Brand loyalty (although Sega is out of the picture unless they decide
to advertise a $50 Dreamcast)
- Supply (which we all know hurt PS2 tremendously last xmas)
- Marketing machines (no idea who has the largest marketing juggernaut;
probably Sony first, and Microsoft second)

I have to say again that this xmas season has me completely stumped and
I am going to monitor it very closely.
