> If possible, please tell us a bit more about yourself; how you started, what you collect, what you enjoy collecting the most, etc.
I'm 26 years old originally from Massachusetts, living in South Carolina since last August.  I've been playing computer games since I was about 6 or 7 years old, and King's Quest was the first game I ever played.  We played it for a week before we even realized that we could type.  Hehe.  Anyway, about a year and a half ago, I was checking to see what the coin from Ultima 4 goes for on ebay.  I had managed to hold onto the coin since I had gotten the original game; we used to play with it in the school yard, pretending it had magical powers.  We even call it "The Mindblast Coin".   I know, a cross reference from a Phantasie III spell.  Hehe.  Anyway, even today, it sits on top of my television in it's own shrine, and it's worldly power helped power the New England Patriots to a superbowl win last year.  Seriously! :)  Well, when I discovered there were no coins for sale on ebay, I simply put "Ultima IV", and an originally shrinkwrapped, brand new one came up in the results.  I was amazed that there was a copy still shrinkwrapped, and that it was going for $50+; more than a brand new game!  Anyway, I didn't win that auction (kicking myself in the pants now), but it prompted me to start looking for other games I remember from my childhood.  Since then, I've become very "in" to it, learning all I can about computer gaming history, and trying to reconstruct all my childhood memories.

I basically collect all games I remember as a child, all games I played, all games I loved and occasionally games I remember wanting as child, but never got.  That includes a large variety of mostly RPG and adventure, and some action; for which computer does not matter to me.

I don't think my collection is that impressive yet; it is approaching 70 pieces, maybe 55 different titles.  I collect *only* originally shrinkwrapped games in acceptable to mint condition.  Don't know why, I just love the idea of owning them in the form that they originally appeared in stores.  Highlights of my collection at this time include brand new shrinked copies of Phantasie I, II and III MS, King's Quest Gray Box MS, Mainstreet & Muses releases of Castle Wolfenstien MS, Cosmi's Forbidden Forest & Beyond Forbidden Forest MS and a Demo/Not for resale Ring Quest by Origin NMS.  Check out the attached pic to see my entire collection as it is today.

Sorry for the rambling! :)
