Philo Agora's talk tomorrow, Tuesday, April 1 at its Glebe cafe location, will be Lisa Thatcher: Powers of Horror.

Analyses the nature of attitudes toward repulsive subjects and examines the function of these topics in selected writings. The talk will be primarily based on Julia Kristeva's book on horror.

Lisa is one of the founding members of Philo Agora .


Tuesday April 1 at the Fair Trade Coffee House, 33 Glebe Point Road, Glebe, $6.00 includes a free cup of coffee or tea. 7.30 - 9.00pm. If you want a meal, come early, as the chef goes off at 7.30. All profits from the Fair Trade Cafe go to Third World development.
