Hi,
Since you're wondering why you aren't getting responses: Even much simpler

I understand it's not the simplest request :o)

Lukas replied earlier today and told me that he will try to look into it
when he gets the time, but that he is very busy.

The time frame wasn't that short. I sent a bug report over a month ago
regarding a pretty bad bug in the IPv6 address conversion code and never got
a reply. This is one of the reasons I was thinking the email might not be
getting through.

I totally understand the pressures that you guys are under. I'm in a very
similar situation being the sole developer of a large. complicated
application.
Please understand that I never at any point intended to be pushy or to make
the assumption that I was owed somebodies help. this last post was truly to
find out if the emails were getting to the list. I thought it strange that
none of the bug reports I posted got any kind of acknowledgment.

That's exactly what I thought... I *wasn't* receiving them! If I had
received a copy I would never have made this post.

To be honest, I don't think I have pressed for anything. The only thing I
wanted was some kind of response so I didn't feel like I was wasting my time
firing off emails that weren't ending up anywhere.

Until now, I didn't feel that there were many questions I could answer with
much authority. If any SNMPv3 questions come up now, I think I'll have a go
at answering :o)

I've been staring at the IV code for days now. I know there could still be
bugs in it, but if there are I'm pretty much out of ideas.

I have, and everything seems to line up pretty well. I've even downloaded
other implementations of SNMPv3 in C sharp and C++, but still can't see
where the problem is.
Thanks for your suggestions, and once again, I really wasn't trying to be
pushy and I'm sorry if that's how it came across.
Cheers,
Paul
