Hi Simone, a little premise: we are here at Apache Incubator because we do want to learn how to be a community in the Apache way: helping about and driving in this direction is mentor's job, and we really appreciate yours (and Emmanuel's and Colm's) efforts in this area. When we received the glad news that Syncope was accepted at the Incubator, we were in the middle of developments for next planned release (Espressivo 1.0), as part of defined roadmap [1]. Since we moved to the ASF, alongside with all other set-up tasks, we barely continued working on open issues we left at GoogleCode, and we are still there, trying to complete all things left open, in order to come to a consistent point. For this purpose, we re-created in JIRA all issues left open at GoogleCode (only the ones originally planned for 1.0, of course). At the same time, as soon as we discover a new bug, we open an issue on JIRA and we track the fix there. Now it's time to start discussing project roadmap, in my opinion taking [1] as starting point; in the meanwhile we will try to complete all open issues so that we can also start discussing about our first incubating release. Simone, will you open a new thread for this topic, indicating how to proceed? Thanks! Finally, let me underline that, even though Apache Syncope is a really young project, its codebase is quite large: so it would be nice if someone else - besides people "working in the same office" - will start taking a look at it, understanding how it works and proposing how to improve or fix: doesn't this mean "Open development"? I would have loved to receive at least a single reply to [2]... Let's power engines of this Apache Syncope! Cheers.
