Yes, I was also left with that impression. I do not toy casually with the idea of de-listing an entire range of feeds because of a tool that does a bad job. What's worse is they could have fixed this easily before the installed base grew out of control. Now there's a ton of sites out without the tags. It's extremely hard to get sites to reinstall fresh software or even do trivial template changes.
