I believe Blogger (blogspot,google) auto generates an Atom feed and that's it. I tried to validate both Atom and RSS feeds and neither worked. I read in "Buzzmarketing with Blogs" that google bought out the company that created the Atom feed. They decided to stay with Atom feeds only and most markets are moving from RSS to Atom. Also, it recommended to have both types of feeds; RSS 2.0 and Atom. Hence, both being on my blog.
Incidently, when I ping an update, syndic8 returns an "ok" as it being accepted. I don't know if that makes any sense. Thanks!
