This is a different way of saying the same thing that I did. My IIfx and all of my SE/30s are all excellent computers. But when I offered to give them to older relatives for free (after a great deal of time spent cleaning up and hot-rodding them)they balked due to the speed with 7 and the lack of Internet support with 6 (specifically the browser situation). Are you saying that a request to David Pierson to craft a new 6 Browser would be a waste of time? > You need a recent computer for that. My SE/30s all surf the WWW in glorious black and white without a problem with 7.1 and iCab. But they are all quite slow. I want to have a better browser written in the same code as System 6. Is there some problem with an implementation of WannBe for 6? And if it is due to something that is missing in the System Folder, can that not be rewritten for 6 as well? I am not getting this . . .
