t-and-f: Oslo TV

Netters:         What we saw on TV last night from Oslo was the European pool telecast with commentary from the ESPN crew, which is the way all track TV coverage is cone over there.           The visuals, I think you would agree, were superb. The commentary, which was "live-tape" was first-rate with correections when stumbles were made. No "up cose and persona;ls" and the interviews were brief and seldom. limited to the top US performers.               And we actually got to see almost all of an exciting 5K race, even though there was no U.S, presence in the race.           FInally, kudos to list member Kevin Sullivan on his great race.                                                                       Ed Grant
