Where shall we start class?
Hell just jump in, the water is warm.
To put it plainly, what are you guys doing with these rankings?
MJ is the number 2 athlete in the WORLD based on what?  A number 1 and a
number 8.  Kederis is number one based on one race, but you do not rank
Bernard Williams in either event, which is pitiful.  He won NC's, made the
final of the US trials, made the OG team, ran the Gold medal relay, and
defeated everyone in the US all through Europe, except for Maurice.  As a
matter of fact he beat everyone ranked in Europe, except for Maurice.  And he
did all of this running the entire collegiate season.  The 200 was a weak
event this year, and he ran some of the best times, but I do not have the
patience to attack the 200 yet.
And you stuck JD way down the list at 8th?  8th?  How do you qualify that?
He finished 5th at the Games, posted the 3rd fastest time of the season, and
finished third in the toughest race of the season, US trials.  Darren
Campbell gets ranked so high because...?  Come on you guys.
I did not say this, but the personal bias is shining through.  I am saying it
in public and I will stand by it, it is a bias towards a group of individuals
that has nothing to do with their performance, at all!  But I know none of
you care, so neither shall I.
It will rain some more......And I do not have my copy yet.  I cannot wait to
read the reasons.

Still don't have my copy but my question is whether there was any "anti-relay" backlash from the games ?? Bernard Williams had a sterling season in both sprints .. His overall season in the 200 being much better than Capel's as Capel's only true performance came at the trials where Bernard performed admirably himself twice running under 20.10 .. I can see only one or two individuals whose overall seasons in the event were better than Bernard's and yet he doesn't rank at all ?!?!? MO ranked #1 in the 100 with a sterling season and a place above MJ in the 200 who had an abbreviated 400 season with good but not great marks .. Yet MJ clobbers him for #2 in the world ?!?!? Why ?? Because maybe MO had a few loses ?? Well let me applaud MO for taking things back to where they should be .. And by that I mean who cares if an athlete goes undefeated in a season ?? That crap where Moses and Lewis and MJ and others try to protect wins and avoid the tough competitions should be a thing of the past .. MO showed that it is ok to lose !!!! As did Bailey before him .. Its ok to race yourself back to shape .. It's ok to try out some stuff in competition .. It's ok to lose some lesser races .. But win the big European meets .. The National Championships .. The Olympics or Worlds and show you are truly #1 .. But back to the rankings ... How the heck does Drummond almost fall out of the top 10 ??? These things are just mind boggling to me ... Am dying to get my issue so I can see what else is out there .. The only relay member who did not seem to be hit by anti-relayitis is Brian Lewis .. And the heck did he get all the way to #4 ??? One lucky race against MO ?? Cause the rest of his season was not #4 caliber ?? What else is out there ??
