MJ has stated that he would be at the Championships regardless of whether or
not he competes. He will be there for PROMOTIONAL purposes.
Promoting the sport has more to do with pre and post race than the race
itself.
There is a thousand requirements you could have of the athletes at Nationals,
competing does not have to be one of them.
