Um die Antwort darauf selbt zu geben: 02BC verwendet man angeblich dort, wo es als eigenständiger Buchstabe verwendet werden soll. Für mich als Laien klingt das zwar nach passendem Einsatz als Apostroph, die Profis haben da aber wohl anderes im Sinn.
