diese Übersetzung sollte man anpassen, der Originaltext geht so: "To map a pedestrianised road nothing other than a simple way is required. Add the highway <http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:highway>= *pedestrian* tag to it and a name<http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:name> =* to make it complete. In the case you want to map a complete area for example a market place or plaza create a closed area with the ways and attach the area<http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:area> =yes tag to it. highway <http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:highway>=*pedestrian*together with area <http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Key:area>=yes<http://wiki.openstreetmap.org/wiki/Tag:area%3Dyes>is also the common way to map squares and plazas. Draw the way at the outer limits (usually walls, buildings, etc.), not in the center of the roads. If there are roads passing over, map them as usual and make connecting nodes at all intersections with the pedestrian area." da steht nichts von "größerer Platz" sondern es heisst "ganze Fläche" und das sei AUCH eine übliche Methode, um generell Plätze zu mappen.
