Hi,
the edit has been completed. A run-down of numbers for those
statistically inclined:
28498 problematic motorway_links identified total
- 2617 of these were "dangling" and thus excluded from automatism
= 25881 remaining to change
- 1686 where the change didn't go through
= 24195 successfully changed
Closer look at the 1686 problem children reveals:
1686 where the change didn't go through
- 66 had been deleted since I did the analysis
- 329 had been manually downgraded by other users
- 180 had been otherwise modified, and were thus excluded from retry
= 1111 to retry
That retry is now under way and I expect it do be over soon. A few ways
will probably still fail the retry for some reason or other (api.osm.org
is not exactly very responsive today) but I'm tempted to count that as
acceptable background noise.
I will let the matter rest for a week or two and then re-check the 2617
"dangling" motorway_links that were identified; those that have not been
fixed until then, I will upload to OpenStreetBugs and tell you when it's
done.
