Hello, I think this is probably because there are third party scripts to enhance the performance of JAWS with Dragon. J-Say, the most comprehensive of these, costs several hundred pounds and also requires the Professional version of Dragon. Even the developers do not claim that these scripts are intended for general users but primarily for those who cannot use a keyboard for other reasons. This system allows not just for dictation but for full control of the PC. However, I also know of JAWS users who use Dragon without the scripts and can also control their computers.
