As its name says, this list is about development. The discussion in this thread is about requirements. Its a good practice to clearly separate discussion of requirements from their implementation. This includes also communication about the release of an implementation. That's how user/developer relations should work. It is not because we do not have a customer/provider relationship but are an open community that we should throw such proven principles over board and mix all up.
