Hi,
What's the international name here?
I think int_name should be used only where there is one "main"
international name, that could lead as a fallback for any name not given
explicitly, like Beijing (didn't check the spelling now) for what
Germans calls Peking, Chinese write in their own symbols and so on. Here
Beijing is the name the city is promoted usually in an international
context, although different countries and languages have their own names
for it.
For Sidon the parts are individual localized names:
Sayda => name:sv, name:tr
Sidonas => name:lt
Sidone => name:it
Sidón => name:cs, name:es, name:gl
Sydon => nme:pl
Sídon => name:is, name:pt
Şaydā, => name:et
Σιδώνα, => name:el
Сидон => name:sr
Sidon => name:cy, name:de, name:eu, name:fr, name:hr, name:id, name:kl,
name:pam, name:la, name:ms, name:nl, name:no, name:ro, name:sco,
name:sl, name:sh, name:fi

(I skipped a few because Thunderbird is nearly unusable navigating
through a mixed text of left-to-right and right-to-left languages and/or
because there isn't a corresponding localized wikipedia page where I
could have matched the languages).

Probably Sidon would qualify for int_name here, but int_name should be
splitted to individual tags for the languages they correspond to.

regards
Peter
