There is another mail I got from the mapper who translated and added the tags (see below). As you can see he points out, that "this is in my opinion the correct way but since there is no order in the languages (in fact there was sometime more names to put in the int_name tag but I had to limit the length in JOSM ) it would be difficult to do it the script way ." Btw., he is also agreeing that those names should better go into dedicated name:language-tags. I have translated and imported so far for : lebanon syria egypt jordany yemen iraq oman my future plans are gaza and west-jordan land tunesia lybia morocco algeria etc.... ____________
