Mines are tagged as Landuse=quarry, a feature where nodes are perfectly 
resonable. So not all
landuse-nodes are wrong. And if an area has only low-res image coverage, a 
point indicating a
cemetary (landuse=cemetary) is better than nothing.
So it should be something like: "landuse is most likely an area/closed way or a 
relation".
