Is a pharmacy not the same as shop=chemist with dispensing=yes? To my mind it sounds like it. If there is a distinction, isn't it getting a bit academic?

No. In a perfect world it should be shop=pharmacy Description : A shop where a pharmacist sells medications. So "a shop"!:-) My definition ... shop ... a place where physical goods are sold. not long ago (maybe even today?) pharmacies were not only selling goods but also producing many kinds of ointments and possibly other things as ordered by the prescribing physician. So "shop" would be a too narrow definition. Richard _______________________________________________ talk mailing list talk@openstreetmap.org https://lists.openstreetmap.org/listinfo/talk
