Did you miss the ongoing thread on this subject? [1] Max even said something about Korean names there too, though this is about the reversed situation [2]. I have no ideas if the names in Korean in your case are transliterations of the local name.
You should of course contact the mapper with the explanation that name is for local names. Though as mentioned in the other thread, maps.me seems to be working on a way to handle this situation better. I would hate to see all the wrong use of the name tags in a place like this [3] reverted, but it looks like most of the POIs from this mapper need local surveying.
