That's right. I think we'd do well to stop this discussion. There's no point
in talking in political terms about what we do. 

I already have some bad experience with mappers who make such
interpretations and use the map to reflect their desires or political
ideologies. Those of us who don't participate in that diabolical game always
lose out, because of these people and those who keep silent by allowing them
to act like this. This is what happens when we mix politics with "what we
do" here. 

The map would be a better place without all of them (and this forum will be
a nicer place to visit if we don't talk politics).
