I floated the idea of Tapestry as part of Jakarta in 
2000 ... before I moved it onto SourceForge.

I got shot down ... they basically said that Tapestry 
was a flawed version of Turbine and I shouldn't be 
forking things.

Without source code, there was little for them to 
compare it to and they wouldn't have known me from Adam, 
but I think we all know that Tapestry is not Turbine.
