Now that you mention it, Robin, that's what I've been doing...double pneumonia,
that is. I got what I thought was a little head cold a couple of weeks ago and
neglected it. I've had some bad experiences with doctors and dislike going
unless I just have to...and apparently this time qualified. I sounded like
Train 45 by the time I went and they sent me home and to bed for a few days.
I've been having some computer problems, so in light of the fact I'd be
homebound for a bit I made the missus stop and I bought a new computer, which
is a hoss. 8gigs ram, 600gb hard drive, triple-core processor, 24-inch monitor
(now I have two). Just excellent. I spent the weekend messing arond with it and
Honky Tonk Swing, which I can never get under my fingers just right. I think
anyone else listening to it would think it's fine, but I know it's not and that
makes all the difference.

Steve

Subject: Re: Your weekend music plans

I found some time to play and sat in my little front yard, singing and playing
some blues in G, not caring what the neighbours thought, and trying to groove,
whilst my new, rescued dog looked at me adoringly, after our long walk through
granite boulders, rock rose and dirt paths. Also was happy that my friend and
guitarist appears to be recovering finally after a month of Swine flu and
double pneumonia. Maybe we can do our gig on the 22nd, even if we won't be
performing our new songs due to lack of practice. Also I wrote a song called
'Orange world' on the aeroplane yesterday, and the words are good at least.
Life is always good if you catch it right.
Robin

Not music really, but I rode my bike up to Rosine today and visited the old
