Yes, you have to be careful using the dbproperties file as it overrides 
the other settings. For example, even if you specify -provenance, if you 
use a dbproperties file then the command line tool takes the setting 
from the dbproperties file, so it must have provenance=true

The command line tool probably should complain if you specify parameters 
that will be ignored because of the dbproperties file.
