Confirm that I see the same issue. Is there a bugtrack entry?

To achieve that appearance in MicroEd I now have to type multiple spaces,
instead of a single <Tab>.

A knock-on of this is that when you indent several consecutive lines, such as a
quote, you have to use hard line-breaks, as below. The result looks terrible if
viewed in a narrow window, with some lines beginning indented as intended and
others beginning at the start of the window.

Line 1 of quote Line 1 of quote. Line 1 of quote Line 1 of quote Line 1 of
quote.
Line 2 of quote Line 2 of quote. Quoted Line 2. Second line.
Line 3 of quote Third quoted line. Line 3 of quote Third line of quote Line
3.
Line 4 of quote Line 4 of quote. Quoted line number four. Fourth line 4 of
quoted text.
