I have had a similar problem with The Bat not having focus after downloading messages. The Bat has not frozen - if I right click on The Bat in the taskbar and select close The Bat responds and closes but I am unable to click on any buttons nor am I able to bring the program to focus. The problem does not occur every time, actually it is rather infrequent - only one or two times per week (using The Bat once or twice per day.)
