Forte Agent is an example of such software. On the Forte WWWebsite there is a roadmap. We know what we can expect in the next version. Beta testing is being done by a closed group of beta testers. And when version 5 will at last hit the main road we KNOW it will be a finished product without any easily discernable or obvious bugs. Development-wise, Forte Agent is the complete and absolute opposite of The Beta!
