I did it less elegantly. I logged in as as an admin, gave my browsing
account admin privileges, logged on in my browsing account and
%RegRead worked. I also tried being a mere power user, but %RegRead
didn't work then. Unfortunately, it's not a good idea to browse from
an admin account (I used to get all sorts of malware coming in), so
I'm only a user again and %RegRead doesn't work.

Is there a way that that Admin can empower a User so %RegRead read
will work on one key?
