Hi Szendrő,
On 10 January 2000 at 11:27:04 GMT +0100 (which was 10:27 where I
live) [EMAIL PROTECTED] wrote and made these points:
SI> The %TOFNAME macro seems to be buggy.
SI> In Hungarian, the last (family) name comes first, followed by the first name.
SI> So when I enter names in the Address Book I enter the first name in
SI> the First Name field etc., but have the name displayed in reverse order.
SI> Now when using %TOFNAME in a template, The Bat! invariably inserts the
SI> first string of the "Display name as" field (Address Book - Properties
SI> for the recipient) instead of the contents of the "First name" field.
SI> Can anybody confirm this?
No, but that is because the premise is incorrect. Once the address is
in the To: field, TB no longer has any reference to which address book
entry it came from. It extracts the %TOFNAME as the sequence of
characters preceding the first space in the RealName string part of
the To: field.
TB is only doing that which it has been asked to do.
Cheers,
Marck
