Please correct me if I am wrong but as far as I know, the address book
is the *source* repository for names.
It has a First Name field, a Last Name field, and a Display Name As field.
So why is inserting the *wrong* part of the name a feature and not a
bug?

Then The Bat! could just as well provide a single field (RealName) for the entire
name since it doesn't allow me to select the part that I want.
Marck D. Pearlstone> TB is only doing that which it has been asked to do.
No.
If it offers a macro for first name and last name then it *should* use
the proper fields of the address book to compose the name.
