Ok, I've been reading for 24 hours and haven't seen anything come up
even resembling the questions that I have. I can not find the info in
the FAQ, and I cannot find the alleged "frequently requested
enhancements" page. I feel stupid, but I also feel like I've looked
all over hell and creation for this info, so...
I've managed to hack through getting The Bat! configured to my needs,
at least pretty well. It's pretty slick, but coming from Agent I have
a few questions:
1. It seems like when I hit <Delete> on a message, sometimes I get
prompted "Do you want to delete this message", and sometimes I don't.
Why? Can I turn it off, so that I never get prompted, and <Delete>
always sends a message straight to the trash?
2. Is there any way to get The Bat! to burst digests into seperate
messages? One mailing list that I'm on gets 100 messages a day (ok,
not so many, perhaps), and it's WAY faster to download the digests (or
so it seems), and Agent can split the digest up into seperate messages
so they're easy to navigate (I'd prefer not to touch the mouse at all,
if possible). "Next message" could work, but it doesn't go to the
next message in a digest, so, I'm stuck. Any help? If there's one
thing that will make me not register/use The Bat!, this is it.
3. Can't wait for user-configurable keys. I'd love to hit 'r' to
reply and <space> to read next. ;) I've got a bunch of editor
enhancements that I'd like to see, actually, but I wanna see what's on
the list already before going crazy. ;)
