Curtis, when I do as you described above, after selecting the text and
upon hitting <CTRL><F4>, I get the desired results. Thanks for the
tip!

I don't have to go to Message -> Specials -> Reply quoting selected
text.

Moreover, when I do go to Message ->, there is no Specials -> Reply
quoting selected text to select from.

It disappeared from the Message window after I hit <CTRL><F4> and
opened the new window showing only the selected text.

Wassup with that?
