Hello America, don't forget those few cis-Atlantic users of TB! !! May be there
are two English speaking Pegasus NGs; I found *7* Pegasus NGs: at least two
Italian, two German, plus.... I don't think that an additional NG would be a good
idea: the knowledge base is split in several groups; crossposting starts a.s.o.
I admit that TBUDL /could/ have been realized in a NG, but the main theme is a
mail-client: the best practice is to use the program, you are discussing about,
while you discuss ! Furthermore: like you, starc, I really hate the argument "No
we won't change this because we always did it this way !". Yes, there are
situations where something has to be changed !! But this has to happen in an
ALL-WIN situation. The advantages resulting out of a change to a NG or
introducing an additional NG /must/ at least equal the disadvantages. To be
honest, I can't see this in the moment. Maybe I didn't look close enough at the
pros and cons, but I'm sure that a change would require quite a lot of work,
energy and perhaps money (??).
