I created a test folder & tested one msg that ended up
in trash mistakenly. I re-filtered for read, answered,
incoming, discovering the problem was in "incoming"
filters. Went thru all of them & found errant filter
which is the one that seems to place msg in trash.
The filter is constructed as follows:
Rule move messages to folder trash
Strings Location Present
[EMAIL PROTECTED] recipient no
Alternatives
[EMAIL PROTECTED] recipient no
Jan Rifkinson recipient no
I interpret the above to mean If a msg recipient is
*not* [EMAIL PROTECTED] or [EMAIL PROTECTED] or Jan
Rifkinson, move to trash.
I have placed this filter @ the bottom of the list of
filters & @ the top of the list of filters. I have
removed all other filters that move anything to trash
folder.
Further thoughts on this problem would be appreciated.
