I don't know about drag-n-drop but I understand that you want to
change your folder structure.

Shift-Ctrl-(Up|Down|Left|Right) moves folders up and down and shifts
them into a folder or out of a folder. This way you might be able to
correct the results of a drag-n-drop operation.
