It's the *only* reason that MDP> message "Nothing to send" ever appears when there is mail in the MDP> outbox. well, that explains one a part of the randomness I saw in the problem: I thought (but wasn't sure) that the message "nothing to send" ceased to appear after trying a few times. I guess that was the time that the send thread needed to finish. ok, now the plot thickens and the bug grows bigger :-) -- Ricardo M.
