You need to use the 'move to next unread message' navigation command. It's in the navigation menu of the view folder window or just hit CTRL-] or CTRL-ALT-Right Arrow as Thomas pointed out, this will automatically open threads to drill down to the next unread message. RD> I've discovered the keypress Shift+Ctrl+* which opens all the RD> threads, but there are two problems associated with that. Firstly, RD> I'm using a laptop and the numberpad * key is a function key. TB RD> doesn't respond to Shift+Ctrl in conjunction with the function RD> key. Is there an alternative way of opening all threads? That key combination collapses all threads. Try it again using the correct shortcut CTRL-*. They both work for me and I'm using a laptop here and have to press the function key. RD> Secondly, it's very messy having all threads opened. Agreed!! :-) RD> It would be much better if I could configure TB to read through RD> closed threads as I spacebar through. You can read through the threads but not with the space bar. If you wish to read all messages within a thread and not only the unread ones then you'll need to expand the thread by hitting CTRL-+ or use the right arrow key to expand the thread as you go along. RD> The second problem comes when I try to read messages in the main RD> window. Again, it doesn't read through closed threads, but there RD> doesn't appear to be a way of making it think threads are expanded RD> - even though they are in the message window. The shortcuts above will work in the main window as well. RD> I'd like to be able to start reading the top message in the main RD> window and, using the space bar, read through all the messages in RD> order - including all the messages in threads - without having TB RD> jumping any. To do this you have to expand the thread/s in question before starting or don't use threading. - -- -=Allie C Martin=- List Moderator | TB! v1.60m | Windows XP Pro PGP/GPG Public Key: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED]?Subject=2B0717E2 _________________________________________________________________ -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- iD8DBQE89LDFV8nrYCsHF+IRAn58AKCb5u939rYM6VYZoMsNq7kYk5xzjwCgvW9x jkJrdnZ6iH5YWWjfZbNr7a0= =Q5J5 -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- ________________________________________________________ Current Ver: 1.60m FAQ : http://faq.thebat.dutaint.com Unsubscribe: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Archives : http://tbudl.thebat.dutaint.com Moderators : mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] TBTech List: mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] Bug Reports: https://bt.ritlabs.com
