Shoot, that's it then. The stop sound on my setup is the same (for some reason) as the Windows Question sound. You're right, it is the question sound then so it could be a mail server error of some sort. Does TB keep any detailed logs of SMTP/POP3 activity? The FETCH is not very informative.
